MATS
MATS (Multimodulation Acoustic Telemetry System) is an underwater acoustic modem designed to transmit commands and data over vertical and horizontal channels from shallow waters to 6000 m water depth. MATS can be used for a variety of applications including bottom-fixed stations, equipment on mooring lines, ROV, Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUV), ships, buoys, towed fish and acoustic networks.
