  • Alexis Duboue

    Alexis Duboué is the Product Manager for Sercel’s Ocean Bottom Nodes (OBN) portfolio. In this role, he defines the product vision and strategy, understanding customer needs, leads the product development and expert teams, and tracks the product performance.

    Based in Nantes, Alexis has been with Sercel for 17 years, actively contributing to the development of innovative marine technologies such as streamers and ocean bottom cables.

    Philippe Herrmann is an Expert Geophysicist at Sercel. Before joining Sercel, he held various R&D and management positions in Processing & Imaging at CGG, then served as an Acquisition Technology Expert in Land Acquisition at CGGVeritas. Since 2019, Philippe has been with Sercel, focusing on illustrating equipment performance from a data-driven perspective. He holds an engineering degree from EOST (Strasbourg) and a Ph.D. in Seismics from Delft University of Technology.

  • Julien Large

    Julien Large is the Product Champion for Sercel’s Marine Seismic Source business line, responsible for overseeing the 'Marine Source' segment since 2017. In this role, he is involved in defining product development strategies, guiding technology, managing expert teams, and ensuring the financial performance of product lines.

    Julien also played a key role in the strategy and development of the Bluepulse and TPS product lines and participated in the LISS acquisition. Previously, he worked for over 10 years as a Project Manager in the Oil & Gas, Nuclear Power, and Cryogenics sectors. He holds an Engineering degree from CNAM, Paris and completed the Mastering Business Excellence programme at CEDEP.

  • Shuki Ronen

    Shuki Ronen is the chief geophysicist at Sercel and an adjunct professor at Stanford. Before joining Sercel, he worked for several seismic contractors and an oil company in various R&D and commercial management roles.

    He worked on low-frequency sources (specifically TPS), OBN (specifically the Trilobit node), OBC, Marine Vibroseis data processing, Least-Squares DMO, Seismic Unix (SU), and stack power-maximization, which was a precursor to FWI. In addition to acquisition and processing, he also worked on interpretation. Thirty years ago, he developed one of the first two commercial software products that used Artificial Intelligence for interpreting seismic attributes.
