​SERCEL NAVIGATION TRAINING

SeaPro Nav Training Course

This course aims at providing navigators with all the information to use the Sercel INS during Seismic operations, from installation to gears deployment at sea, vessel steering and navigation data acquisition and reporting. The course includes the presentation of the hardware and interfacing with all external sensors as well as the client/server architecture. One day is dedicated to the configuration of the INS, from scratch. The following days will be used for GUI’s and real-time functionalities, using real data replays then production practice, data storage and EOL reporting. Troubleshooting is addressed at the end. 4D surveys are also presented.

Other domain such as Multivessel operations (Undershoot, WAZ) are not part of this Standard training course. Specific advanced course can be organized upon request.

This course requires some prerequisites (geodesy and positioning knowledge, Linux and networking skills).

SeaPro Bin Training Course

This course aims at providing navigators with all the information to successfully carry out Seismic Binning Analysis and QC using the latest generation of Sercel Quality Control Equipment. The course combines practical training with theoretical instruction and can be adapted to suit the experience of the participants. Included are the following topics: Coverage Basic Knowledge, Coverage Analysis, attribute Analysis, Software Configuration and installation, 4D and SeaPro Current modules.

Part of the course is also dedicated to the playback of real field results from marine survey analysis.
