      The Sercel geophones range includes three types of sensors:

      • SG-10 Neo: Rare-earth magnet technology to achieve very low distortion and the highest tilt tolerance in the industry.
      • SG-5: High sensitivity  comparable to a string of multiple geophones.
      • JF-30DX: Well-suited for a variety of applications including oil exploration, mining, engineering and scientific research.
      • Seismometers: Designed to yield the performance needed for scientific studies, our seismometers are used for monitoring long period (very low frequency) signals. 

      Highlights

      The SG-10 Neo stands out for its ultra-low distortion, excellent tilt tolerance and remarkable stability, ensuring optimal signal fidelity. The SG-5, which is more sensitive to low frequencies, offers high precision for applications requiring better spectral response.

       

      Sercel seismometers, designed for geophysical research and monitoring, provide sensitive detection of ground movements.

       

      Finally, the robust and versatile JF-30DX combines reliability, a wide temperature range and resistance to harsh environments, making it ideal for seismic field operations.

      SG-10 Neo

      The SG-10 Neo uses rare earth magnets to offer the lowest distortion on the market (< 0.05%) and unmatched tilt tolerance. Its advanced technology ensures a clearer seismic image and maximum reliability. It is designed to operate in extreme conditions, between -40°C and +90°C.

      The SG-5 is a high-sensitivity sensor (80 V/m/s) ideal for single-sensor deployments. Lighter than a conventional geophone array, it facilitates field operations while remaining compatible with the 508XT system. Its performance remains stable in a temperature range from -40°C to +80°C.

    • JF-30DX

      The JF-30DX is a highly reliable conventional geophone for terrestrial or swamp environments. Its rare earth magnet design ensures low distortion and excellent recording quality. It is fully customizable with a variety of housing and cable options to suit any project.

      Seismometers include the robust and sensitive L-4 model for scientific studies and the L-22, a miniature low-frequency (2 Hz) version. These precision instruments are available in 1D or 3D configurations. They maintain strict frequency tolerance despite variations in tilt or temperature.
